Disorderly Conduct

Disorderly conduct is a broad phrase that encompasses many different violations including:

  • Actions that have no purpose or are disruptive to others.
  • Breaching the peace on campus or any function that is sponsored, attended, or otherwise participated in by a college or university. This includes aiding, procuring or forcing another person to breach the peace.
  • Obstructing or disrupting any area of the college including hearings, traffic, pedestrians, teachings, or research.
  • Recording or videoing others in private areas, or anywhere on campus without their knowledge, where the recording could lead to harm, duress, or violating a person’s reasonable expectation of privacy.
